The 'respected' Gonzo

Post by vee8 on Sat Oct 04, 2008 5:32 am

I have spent a while now this evening trying to puzzle this out. It's something that Mod read to me from one of the replys to my one and only post on the 'Missing Madeleine' site. The poster was having a real rant at me, slagging me off, which I in fact found truly hilarious, but she kept using the term respected, when talking about Gonzo, and how he was the only person in the world who was looking for Madeleine, and looking for justice for her. WHY can't they see what we see? Can ANYONE, and I mean this in all fairness, EVER remember ANY article in ANY British paper, ANYTIME that used the word 'respected' when talking about him? Even BEFORE the parents were cleared of involvement? Can anyone give any clue whatsoever as to why these people think he is the best thing since sliced bread? Is there something about him that THEY can see that we can't? It is as plain as the nose on your face that he lied to and about the McCann's, that he did didly-squat to look for Madeleine, that all he cared about was a quick resolution to the case, to preserve the local tourist dollars. I see it, you see it, most of the public see it, so why can't they? I'm not looking for another bout of ridiculing the anti's, I really, really cannot understand their blindness. It keeps going round and round in my head. It's all too easy to just call them dim-witted, but can it really be just as simple as that? It's really doing my head in!

Respected my moony

I suppose Vee8, that the majority of them had to show their support of this buffoon, as they had to hold him up as some type of super sleuth cop that was going to nail the McCanns for the many conspiracy theories that they were forwarding at the time and which they were using to incite others into thinking that K & G were involved in the death of their daughter. All a load of bull, as we have known all along. Regardless of their view on the matter now, I cannot believe that they have not sat in front of their computer screens and absolutely cringed at the many glaringly obvious negligent aspects and omissions viz a viz the way that sorry excuse for a cop, ran the investigation. If it was their child that went missing, would they honestly want such a blithering incompetent running the show?

Kate was being very polite and reserved imo when she referred to Gonzo as a 'disgrace.'

I like the term Gonzo, reminds me of another muppet. lol!

Ok Vee8, I might be a little slow on the uptake, but I have got it now. I said to hubby 'where have I heard the name Gonzo before?' and he said that he was one of Miss Piggys' pals on the muppet show lol! lol! lol!

Very apt Vee8. I like it lol!

Re: The 'respected' Gonzo

Post by vee8 on Sat Oct 04, 2008 6:18 pm

Y'know, a rather unpleasant and disturbing notion has taken root in my head this morning. I think it was always there, hovering in the background, but I never really accepted it as a real possibility because if true, it would be too awful to contemplate, but now I am left with no choice but to believe it as the most likely explanation behind these people's motives.

The people who use sites like this, not the more moderate anti's, they WANT Madeleine to be dead. They don't WANT her to be found alive, ever. I can't believe I am saying this, that human beings could think that way, but as horrific as it seems, it is the only way I can fathom their mindset. Y'see, it would, to them, justify their hatred of Kate and Gerry. It also explains their hero worship of Gonzo. He has nailed his colours to the mast, declairing that Madeleine definitly died in the apartment. So if she turns up alive, their sacred God would be proven to be wrong, to be the fool we all knew he was, and that, to them, is unacceptable. It also explains the 'sad psychic' dig that woman threw into her rant at me yesterday. I have yet to come across any psychic, of any respect or repute, who has said anything other than Madeleine is still alive. So because I believe she is alive, I must therefore be a psychic myself, and therefore the enemy, and then sad.

I am sickend beyond belief that there are people, (creatures) out there who are activly hoping that an little innocent girl is lying in a shallow grave, or hidden at the botom of a storm drain, or lying at the bottom of the ocean somewhere. They WANT this to be the case. Because to think otherwise would betray their own hatred of the McCann's, and their worship of a corrupt and incompitent cop.

I have always been disgusted at the more extreme anti's before, but now I despise them with a burning passion, I hate THEM with a fever I never felt before, or at least the ones who inhabit slimy rockpools like this. For the more moderate, and respectful anti's, being angry with the parents for leaving the kids alone is one thing, and wanting them to be charged is understandable. But to hang around on sites like this, gathering together with their warped and sickening conspiracy theories? They should be kept away from decent society. One of them could live in my town, my street, be my neighbour, and that scares me.

Re: The 'respected' Gonzo

Post by maria on Sat Oct 04, 2008 8:36 pm

Vee

It is simpler than that and also much much more worrying.

They do not want to know about Madeleine at all, she is only the excuse they got to vomit the lowest instincts they feel and can't master. Or don't want to.

What makes a hooligan a hooligan? The adversary being a Chelsea or ManUnited or Liverpool or Italy fan? No, it is the need of showing oneself stronger, physically stronger, than the other. More powerful. And when we get n hooligans together, we have social unrest, indiscriminate victims, dead people. When a holligan or a small group of them are smarter and gather together, we get national socialism, racism, 'the final solution', world war. The dirty work is done by other hooligans and social pshycology explains Peoples' 'adherence' or cumplicity to their policies. These Peoples are their victims as well.

Technology improved. Hooligans now gather around forums and blogs, they go global, they go virtual, they do not need to pick up a gun to destroy their fellow human being. Of course, there still are those doing the 'manual work' around football pitches, in the streets and schools, the physical hooligans, the criminals, the skin heads, the human traffickers. Give them half a chance and all, virtual and real, will jump on it as the wild beasts they are.

The 'others', like you, me and all in here, we MUST understand this, be en garde, NEVER play in the adversary camp (one always wins in one's own camp), answer with truth, logic and correctness, sitck together around our objective (defend the victim(s) pe), never loose your temper.

Allow me to quote here Ian, from Sky: 'Walk softly, speak slowly, think quickly and be true to yourself'. You need to be human (I said 'human' not 'humane') to do this.

THE TRUTH SOMETIMES HURTS!

Post by Royal on Sun Oct 05, 2008 11:57 pm

I believe most of you know me, or at least my views and opinions concerning the disappearance and fate of poor little Madeleine and my absolute belief in the innocence of Madddie's suffering parents, Kate and Gerry, God bless and preserve them both through these troubled times! However I do believe it may now be time to start taking a more realistic view of the situation, and as much as I would be absolutely over the moon were Madeleine to be found alive and well I think we have to start facing the heartbreaking truth that beautiful little Maddie is probably no longer of this world! There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that Madeleine was abducted on that fatal day, the 3rd of May last year, but the question still remains, by whom and under what circumstances. As I understand it the consensus of opinion is that Madeleine was transported by road either into or through Spain to some unknown destination. I do not altogether accept that theory as I believe she was most likely abducted by sea, there was at the time a considerable amount of evidence including some sightings to indicate that possibillity. Why then do I consider it unlikely Madeleine is ever to be found alive and the reason is this, I believe the huge amount of furore and publicity created could well have created panic amongst the kidnappers causing them to respond adversely. The sea theory would account for there now having been no positive sightings of Madeleine for the past eighteen nonths. As for all the Anti's, they obviously want the doubts and speculation to continue indefinitely feeding their vicious and evil minds providing them with a cheap and perverted form of entertainment! As for myself, I hope my friends and fellow posters will accept the above comments are simply my own views which I accept can just as easily be totally wrong, I sincerely hope so!

Alroy.

Royal, I accept your right to that opinion, and I totally agree it is sometimes very dificult to stay positive. But, in my heart, I feel no diferent than I did all those long months ago, that Madeleine is still alive, and more importantly, unharmed. Of course I too could well be wrong, but if I ever felt she was dead, I would simply give up, not just with posting on these boards, but my entire faith would also be brought down, as I feel strongly that Madeleine has a very important future ahead of her. For what it's worth, if you believe such things, I have yet to find a reputable psychic anywhere who things she is on the other side. Keep positive mate, she's coming home!

Re: The 'respected' Gonzo

Post by Guest on Mon Oct 06, 2008 12:58 am

Hi there Royal,

I too appreciate how you feel and respect your opinion.

It makes me think of how Kate, Gerry and their family feel. They have had so many days of dark despair and we know they have looked at all angles as to what happened to their precious daughter. They have contemplated the darkest thoughts and yet, despite the passage of time and the releasing of the pj files, there is absolutely no evidence that Madeleine has come to any harm, let alone met her demise. In this regard, I too understand why they keep their faith and continue to search, pray and do all that is within their power to discover the whereabouts of their little girl. If at the end of the day, everyone gave up and conceded that Madeleine was in fact, no longer of this world, despite absolutely no evidence to support same and as many of us believe, Madeleine is out there somewhere, then we would be doing the little one a great disservice by accepting something that has not been established as fact and for which their is no indication of same.

I think the thoughts you have put forward, have passed through many of our minds at sometime or another. It is natural to feel that this is a possibility, but personally, when I consider same, I very soon remind myself of the continued struggle and effort made by the family and so many others to find the truth and in doing so, find Madeleine, which I know you and us all, would dearly love to achieve.

Justice must be done and seen to be done and it has not been achieved in this tragic case. The pj gave up on dear Madeleine in the early days, as it suited their twisted theories and attempted to protect their precious tourist trade. They have, further, done all they can to spread the word that Madeleine is dead, as once again, that suits their agenda, even though they do not have a single piece of evidence to substantiate same. They copped out and let Madeleine and her family down and indeed, made them victims of a gross and unforgiveable injustice.

Madeleine is out there somewhere and I for one, think and feel that she is still alive and like you all, long and hope for the day that she is returned to the arms of her loving family

Well that thought about the antis not wanting Madeleine to be found alive is true! Because of my faith and belief that she is alive, I have been accused of wanting her to suffer at the hands of paedophiles! You can't make it up really can you?
I believe she is alive and because of that I am somehow guilty of wanting her to suffer, so taking that inference, the antis must want her to be dead.

I have often said that when Madeleine is found and brought home, they will come up with their despicable gruesome theories about why that is so and I expect for the real nutters, they will probably say that this is not really Madeleine, she is a look alike and they will bring out all their doctored photographic evidence to prove it.
I just wonder if they ever see themselves!

Where there is life there is hope.

Royal, no worries mate, you are entitled to think that way. No one is knocking you, we just don't all agree!! Did you ever have a gander at my own website? www.madeleine-adestinybegun.co.uk Maybe it might change your mind? Or at least give you a little more to think about.

Rosie, "they will probably say that this is not really Madeleine, she is a look alike and they will bring out all their doctored photographic evidence to prove it." I said EXACTLY that to Mod, in a phone conversation, only a couple of weeks ago! They adopted a looky-like to get themselves off the hook!!

Madeleine may be dead, we dont know. But she was abducted alive, and as China says, there is no evidence that she is dead. So with that in mind, the search must continue. It is my opinion, that the McCanns detectives are looking for a live child, but that they will also be looking for the opposite, depending upon where the evidence leads them.

Without knowing what happened to her, to give up the search could mean leaving Madeleine to a horrible fate. On the other hand, if she is dead, then she is out of danger. The McCanns will continue to search until there is nothing more to be done and they run out of money, or Madeleine is found. For us, we have made an emotional investment and contributed a bit of time, so there is no harm done if we continue to hope for her to be found alive.

But I understand what you are saying. I myself have wondered how long can we continue to hope for Madeleine to be alive. I dont know the answer, but I guess for a long time. We all have doubts, and have all chosen our own beliefs (is she alive or not) and there is no need for you to apologise for stating your opinion. It is good to know that others have doubts as well.

Post by Royal on Mon Oct 06, 2008 10:55 pm

Hi there Vee8, just to let you know I have read much of your Website and thanks for drawing my attention to it. I'm afraid I am a bit of a realist who surveys the world in the manner it is presented and although I do have my own personal beliefs in certain matters I'm afraid Psychic phenomenon is not one of them. The other additional entries I read were also very interesting and I enjoyed the read although unfortunately I do not at the moment have time to read them all, but I promise I shall go back and catch up on them later! As I have already explained my theories about little Madelleine's fate here on Earth are simply my own thoughts and beliefs and I confess that any conclusions I may have formed have no basis to facts, truth or reality! It may well be that our lovely little Maddie is in fact still alive and well, perhaps in the keeping of some loving childless parents, I certainly hope that is the case and that one day soon she will be found and returned to her true home and devoted family. My same sentiments go out to the other thousands of missing children worldwide and their heartbroken parents. This really is a cruel, evil and at times sickening world we live in which can only be tempered by the love, kindness and compassion of those prepared to fight for truth, fairness and justice.[/justify]

Hi Alroy, I am loathe to admit my thoughts are the same as yours. As each and every month passes the chances of ever finding Madeleine alive get less and less. In fact she chances of ever finding her at all become less.
I do believe had the PJ acted in a more professional way in those first few days...then possibly Madeleine may have stood a chance.
It sickens me to even think this...let alone believe it. But sometimes you have to face facts. There appears to not be one found clue to why or how Madeleine went missing. This I blame on Amaral...he was in charge of the crime scene.

Post by Royal on Tue Oct 07, 2008 7:01 am

Thanks for your kind understanding of a very delicate situation Mumsy. I believe there is not one person on this forum who wants to believe little Madeleine is no longer with us, or even worse that she is being used and abused by some ring of disgusting perverts. To be honest I do not think and certainly do not hope the latter to be the case, although I do not rule out the possibillity of her having in the first place been abducted by some of these evil monsters. Were that to be the case however I really cannot see these despicable animals wanting to hold on to this poor little child for very long in view of all the media publicity, Portuguese police involvement (or rather the lack of it) international public awareness, and that's not to mention the huge reward being offered but not claimed! As I have already said Mumsy, I do not know more than anybody else what has happened to lovely little Madeleine but in the absence of any positive news or sightings for the past year and a half things are not looking very good and sooner or later we will all have to face up to the reality of the situation distasteful though that may be! "God bless and look after little Madeleine where ever she may be."
