The DMail says today that the detectives flew to Portugal last night, to make arrests. I don't know if this is fact or fiction.

But still I cannot understand if madeleine was woken by these guys then how did they get her to keep quiet? She is a feisty little character. Whatever........if there are arrests made I hope to God these creeps will 'sing like canaries' as someone said. They do deals don't they? Please God someone will talk to save himself.

HI Pedro

This is all very strange. Why would burglars take a small child? She was too young to identify them. And it is doubtful that all three were paedophiles.

Even if she could identify them. Murdering a child means life in prison, robbing an apartment does not. I doubt there are many burglars who are also murderers.

I also doubt there are many burglars who are into abducting and selling children. And extremely doubtful that all three would be a party to it. Unless of course they had some cultural tie that did not make child abduction a taboo.

I think there is more about these three burglars than we are seeing in the news.
