My friends, this was taken from Correio da Manhã newspaper:

Lagos: Operation stop overnight

Driver tries to bribe police

Man was arrested along with six other motorists who accused excess alcohol in enforcement actions of PSP in Lagos and Tavira.

A driver was arrested in the early hours of yesterday in Lagos, after attempting to bribe an agent who was performing an operation stop. Besides this, the PSP arrested six other motorists, from alcohol abuse, both in Lagos, as in other supervisory actions, performed in Tavira.

A more complicated situation happened in Lagos, which explains the Command of the PSP in the region, "one of the drivers was also arrested for assaulting a police officer and attempted bribery." Also in Lagos arrested two motorists who accused over 1.20 g / l of alcohol. Already in Tavira, arrested the remaining four drivers with excess blood alcohol, and a fifth man, who circulated a car without a driving license.

Also according to the Command of Faro PSP, detainees accused "rates of alcohol between 1.33 and 2.13 g / l." Were also raised "seven notices of contravention by excess alcohol [between 0.50 and 1.20 g / l] and seven other various infractions to the Highway Code."

The two enforcement actions, they were involved in 34 police elements, are part of Operation Safe Summer in 2013, the PSP, which is ongoing throughout the country both had "main objective is to detect drivers with excess alcohol," explains the police, who will continue with this type of enforcement actions scheduled in the region during the early morning until the end of the high season. With special attention to the areas of nighttime fun.
