The McCanns admitted today to the agency Lusa that they are pleased by the British police has decided to reassess the case of the disappearance of daughter Madeleine in the Algarve in 2007 ,and said he hoped it might bring more information.

Gerry McCann, who traveled this week-end to Lisbon in company of his wife, Kate, expressed to the Lusa news agency that both were "very satisfied by the Metropolitan Police going to reassess all the information and process", after the intervention of Prime Minister Britain, David Cameron.

"It was something we asked for more than three years, and for the process, it is very important that this information is analyzed again, so more investigations can happen. We are very pleased and we wait for new information to appear, "said Gerry McCann.
