UEFA Have Not Taken Any Action At All In Regards To Everton Soccer Team And The Madeleine McCann T-Shirts

Despite rumors circulating amongst the 'Hate McCanns' Sites...UEFA have not in any way shape or form taken action against Everton Soccer Team and their drive to issue T-Shirts bearing the little British Girl's image to be worn by choice in Portugal by the Everton Soccer Team Supporters.

Everton, Benfica fans given Madeleine McCann T-shirts

LISBON — Everton's Europa League match at Benfica kicked off here on
Thursday with fans of both teams wearing T-shirts to raise awareness
about missing girl Madeleine McCann.
Madeleine was three years old when she went missing while on holiday with her family in Portugal in May 2007.Her
parents launched a high-profile campaign to keep her image in the
public eye and fans attending Thursday's match at the city's famous
Estadio da Luz were given T-shirts featuring her face and the words,
'We're Still Looking For You'.Madeleine is pictured wearing Everton's blue home jersey in one of the most widely circulated photographs of her."I will never, ever forget that image of a beautiful, smiling child in an Everton shirt," said Everton chairman Bill Kenwright."I believe that I was one of the first people outside the family to see it and it moved me greatly."In
truth, like everyone else, I have felt nothing but deep sadness and
mounting frustration as the search for Maddie has continued."However,
I continue to be inspired by the dignity and the faith which (her
parents) Kate and Gerry have displayed throughout their dreadful ordeal."This
is just our way of reminding people - not just in the UK and Portugal
but across the globe - that this child is still out there somewhere."The Merseyside club have produced 6,000 T-shirts for their match against Benfica - 3,000 in English and 3,000 in Portuguese.

I am so pleased to hear that both sets of fans were wearing the T Shirts. This is after all for Madeleine, the most important person in all of this.

Maria, there is nothing like a bit of good news to perk you up, hope you feel better soon. foryou

If you follow this link, it is a match report in the Sun newspaper. There is a link to click on for a slideshow, and there are a couple of pictures of people with the T-shirts.

So the pitchforkers have made fools of themselves again. Bunch of halfwits. This should at least go part way to showing them just how stupid they are in their relentless persecution of the McCanns.

And as for JM, well, not much to say except a bit of journalistic integrity wouldnt go astray.

How Brilliant!

Post by Rosie on Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:28 am

Thanks to ALL the fans who wore the Madeleine t-shirts and helped raise her profile in the media once again.

It is very heartwarming to see *BOTH* sets of fans wearing these shirts, shows that the majority of people are good, decent and kind, not nasty bitter and twisted and shrivelled, how on earth can people sleep knowing they tried to disrupt the campaign for information leading to the whereabouts of a missing child?

What really matters to me is the iniciative about the t-shirts had a positive result, with lots of people wearing them, for me, that is the most important.

Well these people made themselves and their pathetic vile campaign known and if they thought they were persuading people with their vileness, they can think again, all they succeeded in doing was to have people, (complete strangers) view them and their emails with utter disbelief and contempt and shock people with their vile and bitter and twisted accusations. When those fools emailed Everton FC and UEFA, they did far more harm to their crusade than we, or anyone else could ever have done. In short they showed themselves up to be exactly what they; Vile, nasty, filthy little narrow minded pitchforkers. Well done you contemptuous fools, give yourself a pat on the back.
