HIYA GIRLS i see your getting hooked

this week I have been subjected to BB and the apprentice. All in the name of being th4e hostess with the mostest! Nothing to do with my bra size!!! just putting someone else's pleasure before mine. I must say that this Alex character has me shouting at the TV!!! No comment re the apprentice, boring. Inflated egos not my forte.

I must say, that whenever I hear the term Big Brother, I associate same with the current over zealous, OTT surveillance society prevalent in our country today - in the main, exchequer driven for financial receipts

I have never watched a single episode of BB, but having said that, I watch very little TV. I love a well put together period drama or a good documentary and like to keep abreast of the news and current affairs, when able, on that little box in the corner of the room.

I do know that the programme attracts a huge amount of interest and remember reading about all the controversy with the beautiful Shirpla (? spelling) participant. I think that series raised a lot of issues that were beneficial to the participants and the wider audience in terms of being worthy of further consideration/discussion. I think it is brilliant that differences of that nature and others eg cultural/background/sexual etc are brought to the surface for same and hopefully can help us all to understand eachother and our weaknesses and qualities better.

I will be reading this thread regularly as I just love the feedback so far and I may even try to watch an episode, just to see what I am missing. In the meantime, I'll keep up to date with it all here.

I have also noticed that lots of newspapers have blogged on this subject and another programme I have not had the opportunity of watching called 'the apprentice'

I suspect this is going to be a very popular thread indeed and I am looking forward to many more laughs when reading same

I think the outburst the girls gave Michael? (Scottish guy from Glasgow )was a bit much. He should not have put on Sylvia’s pants nor swore however it should not have ended with such verbal abuse from Alex when it had noting to do with her. Or rather I do, but it is German Big Brother. I live in Austria and get no British TV at all!

When I go to Kent and stay with my brother's ex-wife she has the TV on the whole time and if Big Brother is on, I have no chance of getting away from it. She absolutely loves it, but all I have seen up to now are two people leaning back on a sofa complaining about something or someone.

Just can't imagine myself making the effort to try and get into it! I'll just read the updates here!

You must be watching at times when they are not doing anything..try tuning in when the program comes on at 9pm etc.Its one of those things you have to get into and get used to the characters etc but really funny when you know them all!!

Read something about the fake wedding. So they are a fake couple who aren't really getting married. This makes the theme of tonight's programme - the showing of people who aren't getting married! I'm not getting married this evening either - anyone want to film me?

Yep..lisa and mario are the real couple.They entered the house together one of the first 4 in there however after only a few minuits big borther called the first 4 into the diary room and told them they were on a secret mission!!!.....lisa and marios relationship was about to come to an end after 3 years.......... and Stephanie is his new girlfriend!!!.My gawwwwwwwwwwd.................but theres a catch.If any of the house mates find out that the new couple are infact fake and that the real couple are lisa and mario.they fail there task and will face the public vote next week.If they pass...they get to avoid the public vote and the rest of the house mate will face the public vote instead!!!!!

Tonight is a fake wedding for the new fake couple...BUT..if the house mates suss them out and stand up at the church to say they object etc etc they fail.
ALEX is a coloured woman in there not too sure of where shes from etc but shes very funny and not afraid to show her feelings to others..even if it hurts them!!!SHE as told them she thinks they are fake and that this is a task etc etc and that at the wedding she is going to stand up and object to it!!!!!

I cant wait for tonight its gonna be one hell of wedding BASH!!!
